The project aimed to create an illustrated “Life Cycle of the Salmon” for the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association (CIAA). Initially developed for educational signage at Homer Harbor and the organization’s website, the goal was to present the salmon life cycle in a visually engaging and scientifically accurate manner, educating both the general public and harbor visitors. The artwork received such positive feedback that its application expanded beyond the original scope. In addition to the harbor signage and website, it was later featured on the cover of CIAA’s annual report and in a poster thanking visitors to the hatchery. This extended use significantly increased the visibility and impact of the design across multiple platforms and audiences.
